Rosebud Sonia:

"If you have a weakness for the 'over the top' meringue type of gowns, a style I'm truly in love with, you'll probably enjoy traditional Japanese singer Matsuyama Keyko's signature scene gowns. The scenes she was performing on could barely absorb the size of her. These were so unique!
And Miss Keyko was also a very special singer... =)

"In a similar style, Thelma Madine, head designer of Nico Bridal, a wedding gown boutique in Liverpool (UK),  designs gypsy wedding and confirmation gowns which are also over the top and a must in the traveler community. You may have to connect on Facebook to see these (Sample at left).

"Speaking of which, about two years ago, Thelma Madine fired her head designer Leanne Phillips after a fierce dispute about taking a day off from work.  Leanne Phillips then took Thelma Madine to court for unfair dismissal and won her case. And so, Leanne Phillips ended up starting her very own gypsy wedding gown business, Leanne Alexandra.

"Last, but not least, Mafer Novias, another unique wedding gown boutique in Barcelona (Spain), proposes wedding gowns that are not far in style from Thelma Madine's creations, with Swarovski adorned bodices and those enormous, fantastic  fat skirts, dripping with ruffles !... =)"
