Another delicious repost from the past (1998!) From 'Voluminous'

Here's another one from the 90s we just couldn't let pass:

A couple of years ago, Rikki sent the below - It is definitely something all of us should see, therefore, well worth reposting!

"Here's a lovely documentary on Lolita fashionistas in Amsterdam and a look into their world. The dress on the fashion designer near the end is
to die for. I don't know if it's poufed with a very stiff petticoat or uses hoops to provide its perfect bell shape. Oh, to have a young, slim body!"

ED: This is a must-see for Lolita fans and those who wish to know much more about these lovely girls.
There is also a fascinating 'women' subculture we didn't know about (last third).
Furthermore, one learns the interesting and surprising differences between the Japanese Lolita culture and that of Europe (There is a BIG contrast!).

Came across a video of Francoise Hardy (French singer). Her song ,`Tous Les Garcons`
from 1962, might be of interest to other Pettipond followers. The best bit starts at 1min 15 seconds."

Occasionally, we run across an archival Update very much worth reposting; this is from 2009:
A special vidclip pointed out by Crinolyn - the very charming "No knickers" advertisement from 1987.

This archival is also from 2009: A video link from Crinolyn - this one is a bridal salon video from Russia, but contains some 'interestings.'
First it looks like a young man and his female friend are leaving with a petticoat in a plastic bag - she looks apprehensive, almost looking to see if anyone
sees them leaving! About thirty seconds into the video a young lady prances about a bit in a bridal petticoat. Later on she tries on several wedding dresses.
