Petticoat pointers
Watch your clearance in theaters, on trains, in all close quarters. A petticoat cuts quite a swath, and it's only good manners to keep from brushing against others.
Remember, a petticoat is meant to be glimpsed. So gear its color to the rest of your costume.
Restiffen a limp petticoat in the heaviest recommended solution of your favorite starch.
Hang petticoats on multiple-skirt hangers, or wrap them broomstick style and store in drawer.
