Chiffon provides this image from Marie Claire magazine,
issue of December, 1957

 from Seventeen, May, 1957 issue

 from Seventeen, November, 1956 issue

New York Times Magazine, September 4, 1955

Yummy bell-shaped skirts!
from Seventeen, February, 196? issue (page torn off)

...and the ever-present white gloves <sigh>.  Can you imagine a
contemporary 'young lady' <sic> even considering wearing those?

...and further Era-defining bell-shaped skirts!
 from Seventeen, April, 1956 issue
