Here's a sight that brings excitement to our hearts!

High-waisted, bouffant jumpers were very popular during a period in The Era

From Jean L.

During The Era, there existed a cornucopia of interesting
and delightful lingerie.  Here is a pretty 'petti-bustier,
tendered and optimized by Sylvia Marie

'Captain Marno' has sent this delicious representation of The Era.
Guess we'd all really like to delve in and count those pettis!

See, that's what we really like about Era petti-wearing:

and patterns - many today only have ONE boring petti!

A date-unspecified Life cover from The Era from Sylvia Marie

ED: Aside from this display of very nice pettis, heavy quilt
skirts were quite popular; we liked them because they
pushed the pettis up against the legs...

"Three types of dresses girl in 1959 routinely
