A few words about myself:
Ever since I was a little child, I have been fascinated with petticoats! Not only do I love the way they feel, but the movement they create as they swish about me when I walk.
I guess this naturally led to styles of the late 19th century. I can't explain what the attraction is...the fullness of the hoopskirt, the tightness of the corset, all the ruffles and bows... maybe it's just that we have very little of this today. I can't tell you how many times I have watched "Gone With The Wind" and have just fell in love with EVERY dress that Scarlett wore. But I suppose the one she wore to the barbecue was my absolute favorite. You can see me wearing a version of that dress in the picture above.
