LIESEL'S PRACTICAL POUFBUNNY AREA

on Petticoat Pond

4. MACHINE DRYING

Aside from the items mentioned under line drying (last section), I dry everything else in a dryer. Be

sure to use the low heat setting for delicate fabrics. The lint trap should also be clean so the

machine has maximum air circulation. Always check the drum of the machine be sure it is clean

and free of sharp edges. Some people aren't very picky about what they put in a dryer. Some

people dry their lingerie in the same bag it was washed in. It does give them protection, but I find

things dry more quickly and evenly when they are removed from the bag. Be careful not to over-

dry your lingerie. If you dry them too long most of the softener will evaporate from the fabric and

you may as well not have used it. Also over drying is not good for the fabric. I usually take them out

of the dryer just before they are dry. They are still just a tiny bit damp. I lay them out and let them air

dry before putting them away. This usually only takes a few minutes.
